Try three questions first

They are our own, not from the real test, and not official. Like the test, they are in Norwegian.

1. Veien til nabobygda er full av hull. Hvem har ansvar for fylkesveiene?

  1. Kommunen der veien ligger
  2. Fylkeskommunen i området
  3. Statsforvalteren i fylket
Show answerHide answer

B Correct: Fylkeskommunen i området

Fylkeskommunen har ansvar for fylkesveier og kollektivtransport. Kommunen frister fordi den drifter mange lokale veier, men fylkesveiene ligger på regionalt nivå.

Remember Fylkesvei = fylkeskommunen.

2. Hva leverer du vanligvis når du søker en jobb i Norge?

  1. En søknad og en cv
  2. Et skattekort og et bankkort
  3. En sluttattest og et helseskjema
Show answerHide answer

  1. Pasienten betaler tolken selv
  2. Det er ikke lov å bruke tolk
  3. Det er gratis for pasienten
Show answerHide answer

C Correct: Det er gratis for pasienten

Når det er nødvendig med tolk i helsetjenesten, er det gratis for pasienten.

Remember Tolk hos lege = gratis.

Common questions

Can I take the test in another municipality?

Yes. You can register at any test centre in Norway, not only where you live.

How often are the dates updated?

Every night, from HK-dir's registration portal. If a date has not been confirmed for 3 days, the page says so; after 14 days we hide dates and prices and show only the link to the portal.

Why do some test centres have no date?

Some centres open registration before the date is set. The centre then shows «Registration open, date not set». The municipality decides when the test is held.

Who sets the price?

The municipality. HK-dir gives NOK 300–1,800 for the citizenship test and NOK 500–1,300 for the social studies test.
